Project Rockclimber

On 12th July 2024, Nick Wilson became the first person with disabilities to ascend the highest point of Mt Snowdon in a prototype power mobility chair called 'The Rockclimber'. This is that story. Nick deals with how his disability prevents him from accomplishing his goals and affects his mental health. At one of the lowest points in his life, Nick meets Elliot and Andrew, co directors of Rock Engineering, and his whole life changes. Together they create a new mobility chair that not only saves Nicks life but can save the lives of others who are struggling with their disabilities. They aim to show how inclusive engineering/technology can help to make the world more accessible.
